Privacy Policy

This policy describes the DashShorts marketing site at dashshorts.io. It covers records already stored from the waitlist, the companies that process data for us, and optional advertising pixels.

Who we are

ERH Capital Partners LLC runs the DashShorts marketing site. Email[email protected].

What the waitlist stored

The homepage no longer has a waitlist form. Rows already stored from that form can include:

• Your email address, saved in lowercase.
• Which form you used (the top of the page or the bottom).
• Campaign fields from the link you arrived on (utm source, medium, campaign, term, content), the referring site, and the page path.
• The country Cloudflare reports for the connection, when it sends one.
• The version of this notice that was on the page.
• Optional details you choose to add after signing up: first name, where you post, and what kind of creator you are.
• Timestamps for when you signed up, when we last saw that email, and whether you confirmed or unsubscribed.

We do not ask for a password on this site. We never put your email address into analytics events.

Where the waitlist is stored

Signups are stored in Supabase (a Postgres database). The table is locked so the public Supabase key cannot read or write it. Only the site's server, using a secret key, can write a row. Signing up again with the same email updates the last-seen time and campaign fields. It does not create a second row.

Email, confirmation, and unsubscribe

When a sending domain is configured, we use Resend to send one confirmation email. The link in that email contains a random token. We store only a SHA-256 hash of the token, not the token itself. You are not on the confirmed list until you open that link. We do not send the confirmation again to an address that is already confirmed. If you have not confirmed yet, we send at most one new confirmation per day.

The homepage no longer asks for an email. Existing rows stay in the database. If a confirmation email was not configured when someone signed up, that row stayed pending.

Every confirmation email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also use the mail client's unsubscribe action. Unsubscribing stops waitlist email to that address.

Cloudflare

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes connection data to deliver the site and to block abuse. In particular:

• Hosting and the site's server endpoints run on Cloudflare.
• Turnstile is not loaded on this site. It was only used on the waitlist form, and that form is no longer on the page. The secret, if one is still set, stays on the server.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics is a cookieless beacon. It counts page views without using cookies and without receiving your email. The Pages project can add that beacon itself. This site adds a second copy only when a beacon token is set in the environment, so views are not counted twice.

Advertising pixels

Meta and TikTok pixels are off unless the owner puts a pixel ID in the site config. When either ID is set, the site shows a cookie banner with Accept and Decline. The pixels load only after you accept. Declining leaves them unloaded. The choice is stored in this browser only (local storage), not on our server.

If you accept, a waitlist success event can send a lead event to Meta (their Lead event) and to TikTok (their SubmitForm event). Those events include a random id so the ad platform can dedupe them. They do not include your email address. The homepage no longer submits that form.

How long we keep it

We keep an existing waitlist row so we can honor unsubscribe and confirmation. You can ask us to delete your row by emailing the contact address above once that mailbox is live. Unsubscribing stops email but does not by itself delete the row.

Children

This site is not directed at children. It is meant for people who create or plan to create short videos.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date at the top.
